A la nostra optativa trimestral de 1r de Batxillerat estem aprenent a escriure discursos ben estructurats des d'un punt de vista lògic, tot emprant un llenguatge precís i rigorós. Basant-nos en el curs Thinker Analytix, de la Universitat de Harvard, ens esforcem per millorar les nostres habilitats argumentatives amb el mètode conegut com "argument mapping". El passat 28 d'octubre,  alumnes i professors de l'institut Europa vam celebrar Halloween. A la celebració es va tornar a fer la gravació del tradicional lipdub que, a causa de la pandèmia, no es va poder realitzar en els dos anys anteriors. Els alumnes portaven un parell de setmanes assajant durant les sessions de la tutoria.

A més, alguns dels alumnes de 4t d’ESO de la matèria d'Emprenedoria van vendre diferents menjars durant l’hora de l'esbarjo.

Finalment, va tenir lloc un concurs de disfresses amb dos premis a la disfressa més original i dos més a la disfressa més terrorífica. Va ser una celebració de Halloween molt divertida i molt ben aprofitada. Les podeu veure en l'àlbum de fotos del concurs de disfresses

Hello, we are Eric and Nerea, and today we are going to talk about our experience on the first day in the Erasmus project.

We began that day with energy at the airport, we were nervous to stay there and meet our host students. We all met around lunchtime, approximately, at one o'clock. Once we all got there, we started the process of checking in our bags and then saying goodbye to our families. It was a very difficult moment for some of us. 

Once we said goodbye to our families and passed the controls, we walked to the boarding gates to board the plane, and we stood in line until the moment to get on the plane.
When we arrived inside, we sat on our seats. The flight lasted 1 hour. It was so quiet for all and short... when we least expect it, we were already there. When we lend we were all nervous about meeting our host families, although this feeling didn't last too much since the families were very welcoming.

Each one went to the shelter that corresponds to us. We arrived home exhausted and once there, we all spoke with the families about our trip, or they made questions about us. We ate an excellent Italian food, we gave thanks to the families for the dinner. Finally, we went to sleep, looking forward to the following day.

Hello, I'm Gerard. I'm going to explain you our second day in Torino. Yesterday, we met our host families for the following week. It was great.
Personally, I’m happy since I woke up at a quarter to seven because the house is near the school. I also had breakfast with the father and the son. Finally, I have got dressed, then we went to the school by car.
Hi, my name is Paula and I also want to explain what I have done this morning. Today, I woke up at half past six because my host family lives far from the secondary school. We had to take two buses to get there.
When we arrived there, the dimensions of the building surprised us a lot because it is enormous and the auditorium is huge. There, we had a seminary about the importance of taking care of the planet and the issues caused by plastic on human health. After that, we were organized in groups of 8 students, mixing all nationalities, where we had to explain our opinion about the topic.
Later, it was the time to introduce ourselves. So, the eight students of INS Europa made a presentation of our secondary school and our commitment to the environment. Furthermore, we showed the research about recycling that we did in Spain to the other countries which are Portugal, Finland, Poland, Turkey and Italy. 
In the afternoon we visited the city centre of Turin accompanied by the host students. We saw different important monuments of the city such as the Royal Palace or the Piazza Castello. Ending up, we came back home and have dinner at 8 p.m.

A la matèria de Filosofia reflexionem sobre el perquè de les qüestions que més ens preocupen: què és la realitat; què hi ha després de la mort; a què ens referim amb el concepte 'veritat'; què és l'amistat, l'amor... I així, ens hem adonat que des de ben petits, en algun moment de la nostra vida, hem anat adquirint posicions filosòfiques, sigui pel motiu que sigui.
