“Harry Potter and the Sword of Gryffindor” and “Lost in the forest” are the two plays that the students of 2nd and 3rd ESO from Institut Europa presented at Auditori Barradas. This activity took place the last 7th June within the Acting Together programme organised by the CRP of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat for the secondary schools of the city.
2nd ESO presented the play “Harry Potter and the Sword of Gryffindor”, a short play with nine actors where Harry’s group recuperates the sword and prevents Draco’s group from stealing Gringot’s bank. In a completely different style, seven students of 3rd ESO presented “Lost in a forest”, a play written and created by one of them, Preet Singh. In this play some friends get lost in the forest while being on an excursion. Fortunately, after having a bad time trying to find their way back, everything turns up to be a dream.
Institut Europa has presented plays in the Acting Together programme for a few years now. And the students enjoy this activity which is a means to learn real English while having fun.
