The students of 1st baccalaureate have visited La Pedrera to discover one of the most important works of Gaudí and the Modernism in Barcelona.

They enjoyed a guided tour in English and after the tour they interviewed some foreign visitors outside La Pedrera. With this teamwork activity they practiced their English and collected some information about the visitors.

After analysing the information gathered, they will present the results of the survey in class and compare the different outcomes.

Els alumnes de 1r de Batxillerat ens expliquen que si fem un treball introspectiu, tots trobarem algun moment a la nostra vida en el qual, d'una manera o altra, hem adquirit una actitud filosòfica...i això és així -diuen- encara que no ens agradi la filosofia! Ells mateixos han fet aquesta introspecció i han descobert quan i per què van contreure aquesta actitud. This school year 21-22 we are very happy to start with three language assistants, Verena from Austria, and Maria and Ariadni from Greece. They are Erasmus students and have come to help us improve our English, especially our spoken English.

They have introduced themselves presenting their profiles in the class and telling us things about their countries. The presentations were very interesting and we learned a lot with them.

We are very happy that Coronavirus has allowed us to have language assistants again and hope we can learn a lot from and with them. Welcome, Verena, Maria and Ariadni!.
